Anyone else get charged twice this month?

Just curious to know if any other subscribers were charged twice for the month of September as I had two $14.99 charges. I called Mythic and was told initially that the reason for the second charge was due to a server going down. Apparently when the server came back online it caused some customers to receive an extra charge.



The service rep that I'm speaking with tells me not to worry, the extra charge will be refunded within 10 days. Well guess what, 10 days have past and no refund. Then yesterday I receive the following e-mail:



Hello,



In reviewing the recent incidents with multiple charges for subscriptions, we will be placing your request on hold pending verification of your billing statement. We ask that you review your statement and ensure that you were charged multiple times. If you are in fact seeing an additional charge that does not fall off, we ask that you contact us with your billing statement handy and this reference number: XXXXXXX to continue the process of a possible refund. 



If you have any further questions or would like to speak to a Technical or Billing support staff member, please feel free to reply to this email or call (650) 628-1001. Warhammer Online's phone support hours are 10 AM - 10 PM EST daily.

So, I call Mythic again with statement in hand as instructed and this time the new rep tells me I have to fax my bank statement to them proving that there was indeed a double charge. Needless to say, I will be faxing them a copy of my bank statement sans account info, but geesh, what a pain in the rear. I've been a sub to this game since release, but I just canceled as enough is enough with this company. I swear you couldn't drive a car off a cliff as fast as this company has been heading south.



It's a good thing I'm really enjoying Aion.

    hope everything gets fixed for you. I have had this problem before it had taken two month to get a refun.

    Mythic finally admitted they double billed people.

    Bad press for them with other games out now.

    In order to avoid credit card trouble. I usually selected the month I wanted to play from 1-6 months then cancel the subscription. Pay again when you want to play again then cancel again. I found it is the best way to keep out of trouble.
