Lacking advanced trade functionality

Most other games today have a trading facility, like auction houses or WW for CoH. I feel that the lack of this functionality removes a very important aspect of mmo gaming, at least for me. The fact the only real trading going on is done with npc's moves the game into a grind only category, making the game tedious very fast. Additionally grinding is not really an option in the game, due to the extreemly low xp gain from taking out baddies, so this leaves only questing.

Since I still enjoy the game, I very much hope that they will expand the features in-game, to make it a more diverse universe to be in.

Confused here, as there is an Auction house in the game. It's just that most people aren't using it yet.

I did not know that - even after many hours of playtime (not even starting to count the amount of characters :) ). Where is it located please?

It's located in the Ren Center in Millennium City.  There's also a bank located around there as well.  Hopefully they will put markers on the map for them because a lot of people don't know that they are there.

You shouldn't have to feel a grind until level 30 and even then additional quest lines which will be repeatable are being set up and added in soon (thankfully).  If your feeling the grind before this check your Quest Journal and go to Crime Computer.  It'll list all the NPC's with available quests for you in all the areas you have access too.  Note though that sometimes the NPC's offer quests higher level, its best to go and see all of them to find the ones with quests specifically your level or lower.

Also saving citizens (anyone that is cowering / trapped by npc's in any area) can on occasion net you side quests that give you an additional 3k - 11k xp sometimes just saving them gets you 500 if they have no quest.

oh and with the AH it automatically gives you the money when the item has sold so you wont need to check your mail etc (though it will send you notice the item sold).    The bank you can store all your crafting supplies there and still have access to them at any crafting table through out the world so you dont ahve to go back and forth unless you leave items there you want.
