I was thinking of coming back to this great game.

Ok me and friend were talking about coming back to this once and great game.   I want to know are people coming back or is this game just for hardcore fan base?  I've been playing world of warcraft for 4 years off and on.  But it does not have the pvp content that I'm looking for.  PvP in wow is more like mini games with nothing on the line.  Where as in Daoc there was something more on the line than just points.  So I'm hoping I can come back to this game and bring some friends with me.  Is this the case?

The game has changed alot, read articles in this forum to get an idea.  The general view is that DAOC is still the best RVR game ever devised, however the interface etc needs major changing, so it would depend alot on you and your friends preferences.  I'd be playing it now if two things had changed in DAOC...1.  Key binding of spells etc, and 2.  Reduce spawn rate of mobs near quest area's, they spawn so quickly unless you are grouped, you'll never get through.  Try the 14 free trial, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

True Daoc has changed alot, deffintly try the 14 free day trial. I still play it from release.

ok cool.  I'm going to do the 14 day trial.  I'll get some of my friends to come join as well.  I just don't think there any pvp content in wow for me to still play.  Don't get me wrong wow is great game when it comes to pve content.  Nothing is better but pvp is really weak and water down.
