Beta Download Problem

I'm having a problem running the Beta for Mortal Online. I downloaded the .rar file from their website using utorrent. As it said in the instructions on the website, I extracted the .rar file to a folder on my desktop. I then ran the updater .exe file, it updated the game, and I hit Play. Immediately a Windows notice popped up saying "NowGame.exe has stopped working." Help please?

install netframework 3.5, newest directx, the latest drivers for your video card,  physx.

 I have the latest DX and drivers for my video card. Where can I get the others... just Google them?

 Never mind, I got 'em. Thanks much, I'll let you know if it works.

The easy way is to run a windows update, the latest .net update will be included within that.

The first one should have the basic links you'll need for updates.

The second is really, really good and has some great work arounds for issues you WILL encounter at some point or another.

The third is a great roundup post with links to a number of places for various things and at the bottom will explain how to get into the beta irc, which I strongly suggest you do (you will need to have a game account for this).

Remember this is beta you are going to have issues but those 3 threads above are a bible! For getting the tech stuff sorted(mostly), irc is definately needed for ingame as this is their version of beta forums, where you will ask question pick up tips etc, there's always 100+ in channel, some are moron (like anywhere) but you will usually get your questions answered.
