Quick travel question

in Final Fantasy XI

Im in Sandy atm but find myself needing to get to bastok, I heard theirs new NPC's that teleport to whitegate, but do they also do between home nations?

If not, is their a quick safe way I can get to bastok from sandoria, or is the only way running there?

    In order to get to Whitegate via the NPCs, you have to finish a quest for the Whitegate NPC in the given nation first. Then you have to get to Aht Urghan "the long way", "cozy up" to Naja Salaheem and become a Mercenary (in FFXI, you have to earn anything that will be beneficial to you later - especially warps/teleports... so get used to that now :-p).



    Before that, if you haven't gotten your chocobo license yet, the quickest way you're going to get to Bastok from Sandy (or anywhere) is on foot. If you're particularly adventurous and good at avoiding aggro, you could try and get there yourself (it is doable). Or, if you can find someone high enough and with the time, they could escort you and deal with aggro along the way.



    If you can, try and pick up your Teleport Crystals at the crags (those huge, white, structures that look like they're made out of cement) along the way (Dem and Holla) in Konschtat Highlands and LaTheine Plateau. This way later on a White Mage with those teleport spells can get you to either one much more quickly.

    ummm. can i ask why u need to get to bastok? for the record if your under level 15 theres really no need...just saying. its like stressing out about homework thats due in 2 weeks... =o

    I can't understand why its so hard for people to READ and UNDERSTAND what they read.
