When will we get new information?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Any ideas as to when SE will start giving us more to chew on?  Are there any more conventions/panels/events where we could learn more or are we just going cold turkey until BAM! out of left field the offical website gets updated out of no where?

The suspense is killing me <(;_;)>

    Toyko Game Show (September 24 - 27 2009) << I'd venture to guess info on the beta would break here.

    They recently had a count down timer as their big schtick for a new game coming out on the DS.

    Perhaps we'll see a count down timer for new information being released on their main FFXIV website sooner or later.

    They seem to enjoy count down timers in the MMO industry.  Though I wouldn't be suprised if they didn't tell us anything until release.  They were very tight lipped in a lot of details on FFXI.

    I don't think we will see anything about Final Fantasy XIV in Comic Con and GDC already passed.

    Closes we will get on info will probably be the Tokyo Game Show in September.

     I'd register on the official web-page.  They should e-mail you when they provide new information.

    I am kind of glad they haven't given out a lot of info yet. I hate when people, as in player, over hype a game. Yes I am looking forward to it though.

    Have you read this forum ... it is already too over hyped one zero to no info ... more info woudl quell the masses more than excite it.
