Plans for better graphics?

 Are there any plans for updating the graphics?  Everything else about the game seems great to me, its just...

 

..I cant get over those graphics.  And trust me, I played Runescape exclusively for a year, so its not like im just a graphics freak.

 

 

I think a lot of potential DF players are dissuaded by the graphics, as well.  Especially looking at those videos on youtube... :/

    Honestly, it looks better ingame than it does on videos and screenshots, they really do no justice. The world graphics are pretty good, in all honesty. Hell, the landscape looks better on my rig than the EQ2 landscape. But when it comes to the models and animations, that's where Darkfall starts lacking. But all in all, it really isn't as bad as it looks.

    The world really does look better then EQ2's.

    The character models aren't that great, but even then when they are in armor they look a lot better.

    I personally think the game looks pretty good, and much better running then in screen shots or youtube vids.

    Parts of the world are quite pretty.  Character models and animation are pretty poor and some of the textures aren't great, either, but overall the graphics aren't horrible.  If they cleaned up some stuff, they'd be much better as a whole.  Here's a great screenshot from Paragus1:
