Website description changed to mmorpg from mmog space game. Any reason why?

I recently noticed this (I don;t visit the main site often).

Anyone have any Idea for the change?

I myself never considered Eve a mmorpg imo.

Its so radically different with the whole lore on the website only i assumed it was a mmog.

Maybe due to epic arcs and the addition of storylines ingame CCP is making a switch? maybe to not confuse new players?

What do you guys think?

    When you first goto the Official Eve site on the very top of the page above the Typed Url it used to say.

    "Eve Online A MMOG spaceship Game" 

    Now it says its an mmorpg.

    just wondering why they changed it lol.

    That change appears to have been made on July 9th of 2005. Prior to that, the title only said "EVE Online"

    LOL!!!! I could have sworn it used to say MMOG in the header description.

    Eve was always billed as an MMOG rather than MMORPG for as long as I remember unless I missed something.

    EVE was never listed as an MMORPG.  Was always listed as MMOG because they didn't want it associated with fantasy MMORPG's.

    Maybe I should ask this in the Official forums then, since in my Mozilla web browser the Main site has Eve listed as a MMORPG now.
