This week I'm finally going to buy my new computer and I need help. I only have $600 to spend, I'll post the items/prices for the items I consider interesting on the store I'm buying them at in Paraguay.

That'll leave me an extra $50 I can spend on an after-market CPU cooler.
Extra info:
I run on 1280x1024 resolution and I intend on overclocking the CPU. If there is any money left over I will most likely invest it on an after-market CPU cooler.

Are you looking at that P5E Deluxe for the Crossfire? If you are dropping the extra $100 on the mobo so you can put an extra video card in in the future then you should get a beefier PSU now as well so you don't have to upgrade it when you do so.
Yes, I was actually considering a Corsair 550W, but I'd have to buy that here in Brazil, since the store doesn't sell any better, well know PSU's. The Corsair 550W is going for roughly $120. I also calculated it and I would need around 440W total including the second HD4770 GPU in Crossfire.
You should take a look at www.NewEgg.com for the parts you want because they give good detail & specks, and then search the web for the lowest prices on what you want. I most times will use newegg.com to find out about the items that most interest me, then I turn around & do a search for them on Shopping.Yahoo.com, and PriceWatch.com
As for what type of CPU really just depends on you & what you want

I guess that'd work great if I lived in the USA or Canada. I live in Brazil and so we don't have such a big variety of components and the price is around double that of Neweggs, that's why I'm going to buy the computer in Paraguay. Their taxes are lower and so I end up paying only a bit more than they get the products for in the USA, but the variety is lacking. I have an idea of what I'd want if I were to buy this in the US, but since I am not, I have to decide from what I have.
Hmm well I am not sure then what you should do because as you said prices are double that of newegg.com but you can still use them as a reference for items you may want because they still give great detail on the items they sell. On the other hand sorry mate was just trying to help you out there & I hope you find something more useful for yourself.

Another good place for ordering parts is www.microcenter.com, built a 2400.00 avg dell pc for 1100.00. Havent looked back since this store.
checkout tigerdirect.com for video reviews on the EVGA GTX 260 then buy it at Newegg.....very good deal with a rebate it comes out to
159.99 with a copy of COD world at WAR
Also I would go for the Antec case 900 probably the best gaming case ever built, unless you want it's big brother
pro around 100 right now
and CPU I would go with the E8500 and OC to about 3.2-3.8 with a zalman cooler can't go wrong this will play any game out there at great performance, ofcourse with the rest of the parts but these are the ones I recommend, good luck..
