Has any developer commented on weather or not there will be nudity in MO

I know there has been speculation and debate about if there will be frontal nudity in this game based on this picture of the forest Elf - http://www.mortalonline.com/forestelf
But has any developer ever come out and said yes or no?

As far as I know about the nudity, it isn't in. Though I don't recall if a dev has specifically commented on this or not. Yeah, the pic has a nipple in it, but I don't know if it will translate into the game. I hope not, we don't need stupid people running around naked.
Yeah, but reading that they intended this game to be for a mature community and knowing that they try to put so much realism in every little gameplay element, I doubt whether they will have females run around with out of place push up bra's like in so many other games. That also influences the looks of types of semi covered chest armors. I'm not so sure about it yet; couldn't find anything on age ratings they aim for either.

I understand they're going for realism for a lot of stuff, but here's hoping nudity wont be in. Lets have a nice community in this game.
The rules of Debate are really simple; once you have to stoop to insults instead of facts, logic, or reason to try and win your argument, you've lost.
Well, there's hoping it will be credit card only. They just have to add the boob elf pic + a little blood and gore and a big MATURE RATING logo to the subscription page and it will deter most parents who have been almost tricked into subbing their kids.
I wouldn't mind to see an occasional boob ingame, personally. Not only because I'm a twisted sex maniac, but mainly because I'm sick and tired of the bigot brigade making a fuss about media showing udderly natural pieces of anatomy. We don't live in the 19th century anymore and not all games are made for kids. And stuff ...

Hate to say it, but the game will have a descent percentage of "12 yr olds" boob, or no boob. The moment they presented this as something other than Hello Kitty Online, a lot of little boys decided that this will be their next great challenge. I mean, their first love, will always be the ability to stroke their own virtual e-peens, through random acts of obnoxiousness. That said, there will also be plenty of adults with the brains of 12 yr olds running amok.
Sadly, you could put two naked men and a female donkey on the front cover, splattered in blood and perhaps one on a cross, with big bold letters saying that this game is not to be sold to the underage, and parents will let their kids buy it anyways. Not nearly enough parents seem to really care, and often enough those that do- care too much and have the resultant guilt complexes that rationalizes their misjudgement on something like this.
Probably the best way to ensure this game stays with a strictly adult community, is to only sell it at adult bookstores or give away as prizes on bingo night.
On the other hand, I agree that having some form of it will help with the armors. At least with FPV, you can't run around with one hand on the keyboard, and the other down your pants, like some are destined to do.

As long as penalties for killing innocent players are decent, I think people will monitor their actions.
Just want to point a few things out.
The game is unlikely to have a boxed release, they will most likely sell it online with a download, like Darkfall. This means that the 12 year olds are not so likely to pick it up.
I highly doubt there will be lots of kids playing it for the tits, there are easier ways to see boobs if you want to. I dont think anyone is playing AoC for the boobs, sure there probably was some who bought it for that reason, but how many of those are playing it now?
If somebody wants to see some naked chicks, there are plenty places to see them.
But after seeing a teenager masturbating in front of wow's elf I'm wondering wtf is with such people ?
I don't need (nor even want) to see hectoliters of blood shed and naked chicks with axes. I'm fed up with gore in computer games, as it makes me sick, when every game advertises with tons of violence.
Enough that MO is going to be a game focused basically on PvP with full loot. Everything else bases on those 2 aspects, especially economy and crafting.

I personally had not even clicked on the pic referred to by the OP to see the extra detail in the full image. I wouldn't read too much into it just yet. The Sarducaans are a little more covered up, and don't seem to be experiencing any wardrobe malfunctions.

I kind of hope there is nudity in it. Like others I'm tired of being told what I can and cannot see/do. I just started playing AoC and while yes, I do run around nekked when I first start a toon I'm not getting my jollies from it. As soon as I get the first piece of quest gear I am no longer nude. As far as the community goes I cant comment on other servers but on the Set server its HARDLY full of immature idiots. Set actually seems to have a verry good/mature community. Every once in a while someone will say "sweet a boob" and then nothing else or "man this succubus is HOT". Again its left at that. I get kind of tired of the "must be a 12yr old" comments. I am a guy that mainly makes female toons. Why? No idea really just always have since I started playing MMO's with Asherons Call. I'm 27 in a healthy relationship and boobs in a video game doesnt do much for me. But its sure good for a laugh when someone gets uptight about there being nudity in a game (or movie for that matter).
The main reason why you'll see a lot of 12 year olds is they're afraid to get caught watching porn, thus they have an excuse if they do get caught looking at boobs: hey, you bought me the game! I do think this type of community will eventually be driven out if devs don't cater to their crowd. Full loot is something a lot of them will stay away from, plus the fact they usually aren't as skilled as an adult, haha!
