Wurm seems to have many great aspects.

But I think they underestimated the importance of the name when it comes to marketing.

Trying to sell a game named Wurm would be difficult, no matter how good the game was.

Did they mean wyrm, as in dragon?

Dragon might be a better name.

That's what I thought at first, but then the name "wurm" grew on me as the game is 80% terraforming (in my case), and I identify that with the word "worm" or "to dig". Although later I found out the game *is* basically called "Dragon" since "Wurm" is the German usage of the "wyrm" kind of dragon.
