SOE to take over SGW

Found this screenshot posted on the official forums of an option in someones SOE account manager screen click, giving the option to buy Stargate Online Trading Cards. Looks like Smed is moving in with a TCG from SWG to SGW! And since Sony owns MGM!

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience"

The Denver studio that SOE bought out specialized in making virtual TCG and I believe the Stargate TCG was made before the SOE merger.

Stargate Worlds is in deeep trouble, they (Cheyenne Mountain) are having big financial problems & have now got a couple of lawsuits filed against them for non-payments of bills & a lot of staff have had no money/wages 25 days or so after they were due.

The card game was indevelopment before SoE purchased the company making it so it's not SoE involved with the MMO part of the franchise....yet, but if indications are anything to go by then SoE stepping in to help SWG get off the ground & make it to release might be what the game desperately needs, right now it's looking grim.
