mark as read & go to last unread

I wonder why mmorpg.com forums never had 2 simple, but very useful features.
I never know where do I have to start reading the thread from last time, and looking by posting dates don't make it easy for me.
Second thing is that all threads with new posts, even those read, are still blue.

Any chances of providing those 2 small features, as they are the core of all bbs boards.
