Any suggestions to resolve a persistent crash to desk-top?

So I tried most recent drivers and still crash to desk-top while trying to log in with my brand new human character.
I get to loading build 3 initiating, then connecting, then black screen, then splash-screen, then crash with this message: AppName: darkfall.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: sfmiddleware.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000f9672
The Darkfall error filing system doesnt appear; the game just crashes upon loading in.
I dont want to remake a character because I already did this morning and threw away another in-game character name.
I also completely uninstalled, and reinstalled the game, which took an hour plus this morning.

Your problem is that you reinstalled. Skip that step and you'll have solved the problem.
