May be an old topic but this just got me thinking.
You can almost always spot a PC gamer by the way he/she sits down at a computer.
I always put my fingers on WASD and grab the mouse.
Now apparently everyone do not do this, really.
Some people put their fingers in the "typing" positions rather then the "killing" position.
Now why is that?
Now I have heard that the pen is mightier then the sword but really, why not place you fingers ready for combat rather then for slowly killing your opponents with rhetorical conjectures?
So, who are you?

I put my fingers into the typing position - asdf jkl; Its comfortable for me this ways, so that when I was to make that transaction to killer mode i just flick my fingers up on wasd and to the mouse.

You forgot to include the people who have porn on their desktop and end up planting their right hand on the mouse for the clicking and their left hand.... well... you know... Lets just call the left hand Wristina for now.

unless I'm playing games or typing (like now) my left hand is on my lap (close to you know what).
Im a touch typist. Learned how to type 70wpm in 6th grade.

That is the thing.
I learned that as well, I had a C64 but computers were not mainstream, and you usually used a joystick such as the TAC2 for playing back then.
I learned typing in school before I started playing FPS games on the computer, on a typewriter no less, electrical but still.
