Yeah they are pretty close in design, what I like most is the armor and weapons that change when in combat. Why have more games not done something of the sort?

Read the topic a bit more closely please... All armours have been updated, and they only took a ranger to show some...

I think this means they've finally received the final client, that black armor is a level 25 unique item afaik.
Is it true you can change the armour colours?
And also if you prefer the look of one armour type you can keep it but have the stats of a better one?

You can't change the color of certain high quality armors yet at least, but the rest, yeah.
And yup, you can take any equipment and swap skins with an old piece as long as they are the same kind (chain with chain, heavy with heavy). From level 30.
Everything about this game sounds so good and fresh.
I can't wait to play it.
