Just started on Gilgamesh

in Final Fantasy XI

After playing a 30-day trial almost a year ago, I decided to give this game another shot. I couldn't remember my Play Online ID so I started fresh with a new account. Anyway, I rolled a black mage on Gilgamesh named Apollonius, so if anyone from that server wants to show me the ropes or group or whatever, hit me up. I don't really remember much from when I played before, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You should consider rerolling on Bahamut and play with Annakinsella whom just started playing.  His thread is here to learn more.

    I'm only lvl 3 so far so I wouldn't mind rerolling, but I thought I saw some other people on here that just started on Gilgamesh. Maybe I'll make another toon anyway. Any recommendations on what to roll? I'd really appreciate any advice in order to get as much out of this game as possible.
