TBC installation help!

Ok..

So this is the deal: I wanna start wow again, I dont have Wotlk yet,  so I now installed the regular wow succesfully, then TBC, then I logged in to game, there came that patcher thingy, and said please restart the wow, it took 12 minutes, and after that there came this TBC installer AGAIN! And now it is stuck at 2% for like 2 hours now, becouse it is downloading SKINS! like what the hell, downloading skins?

So is this normal or.. ?

    Check blizzard forums, perhaps.  There is a way to get around the Blizzard installer utility which has solved poblems for me at some point, wish I could remember step-by-step for you.  You go to the folders on the disc rather than running the installer, but there's a specific way to do it.  Anyone else remember better than I do?

    This was a major patch update day so you may have bumped into that.

    So it's not really the blizz updater thingy... And this is taking ages.. now in 3 hours its in 3%.. ?

    It looks like your original TBC installation didn't take and it's redownloading it all... I think the slow speed is because you unfortunately are doing it at the same time as the patch and you and 5 million others are trying to download something at the same time...
