RWII and Merry Mayhem events come to a close. Land Areas, Rare Armors, and other prizes awarded!

Land areas awarded, rare armor sets, and other christmas gifts have all been given out now.

All in all, the robot invasion and the Merry Mayhem events run from Mid December to the end of 2008 resulted in a lot more people on Calypso, and a fun time to be had.

 

The robot invasion, referred to by the colonists as RWII, came to an end when Lord Telleton and Scylla, apparently self-aware robots of the Warlock model, appeared at Hadesheim. Members of several of Calypsos more skilled Societies engaged and destroyed them, bringing resulting in the defeat of the robot forces, and the withdrawal of most of their forces from the planets surface. Calypso is no longer under siege! Some lucky colonists were able to salvage advanced technology from the robot foe, which was sought after by the RDI. These items were exchanged by 15 colonists for the rare Protector of the Empire armor.

in celebration, the Imperial Government  announced a hunting contest with 4 divisions and 10 prizes for each divsion. The prizes included 3 land areas, Some unique armor sets, as well as some highly coveted standard armors, such as Shadow, Jaguar, and Angel!
