No prob lol. I wish there was more info but thats the only tasty bits we have as of now. I'm pretty sure the guy who made WoW have that seemless feel, is the same guy GW2 got. I drool and will be dubbed Fanboy quick like lol

I personally am jazzed as hell about GW2 but we won't see a beta until at least the end of 2009. It tells me the announced it way too soon.

I would agree but a lot of companies do the same thing. The only thing that bugged me was that they thought we'd have open beta late 2008. I trust the dev team since they've made one great game already, so I'm not worried about it.

That's true and there was a bit of a shake up in the company earlier this year with folks playing Musical departments while others left...but that was for the most part the soft positions of the company. I would imagine since Garriotts folly NC-Soft would have to be a lot harder to deal with as a publisher as well.

That's their faq. This bit made me happy, "However, your original Guild Wars character names will be reserved for your use in Guild Wars 2"

I think all the GW players have something in common, we're typo specialists, lol

They announced the existence of GW2 primarily as a reason why there wouldn't be more campaigns coming out for GW1.  Had they not announced it, with more than two years since the last campaign (GWEN wasn't a campaign), players would be like, what's wrong, are they abandoning the game?

Yeah, when I was naming my sin, I managed to misspell "Assassin", lol.

It doesn't give a whole lot of information, but here's an interview w/tentonhammer that was on the GW main site a whie back.

I too am very, very excited about GW2. GW was just an incredible game; the only thing I don't like is the heavy instancing, which is one of the biggest things they are changing.

As I think someone else said here, GW got the best people from the Old Blizzard, from back when it was an amazing company that made amazing games. They got a couple of the main designers of WoW, which is why WoW was amazing when it began, but has gone downhill ever since. And it is why GW is amazing and stays amazing.

It is a difficult thing for me to wait.

"There are two great powers, and they've been fighting since time began. Every advance in human life, every scrap of knowledge and wisdom and decency we have has been torn by one side from the teeth of the other. Every little increase in human freedom has been fought over ferociously between those who want us to know more and be wiser and stronger, and those who want us to obey and be humble and submit."

    — John Parry, to his son Will; "The Subtle Knife," by Phillip Pullman

It's difficult for all of us, lol.  Though in response to your tirade against Blizzard, I'm actually really looking forward to Diablo 3.  It looks really cool and some of the changes are badly needed, imo

Cheers for the link. I had a great experience with the GW community too. There'd be the odd idiot or scammer but ofc no game is perfect. Perhaps we should share some good experiences of GW.

I remember the times I used to go chest running in FoW with some friends. One of them always used to always seem to attract lots of red dots. We used to nearly always have end up with an army chasing us lol and we were all crapping our pants. It was a right laugh!

Oh and the wait for GW2, anyone here have a spare time machine I could borrow?
