How many warnings, bans have you been issued?

I have 2 warnings and 1 ban. The mods are over zealous and only regulate people they don't know. Long term members and recognizable names are left alone.
MMORPG needs to regulate their mods, or allow us to defend ourselves. When I get issued a warning, its based entirely on the discretion of one person. I have no way of explaining the context or defending my opinion.
I try my best to stick to the forum rules, but it seems like people here are trigger happy and looking for excuses.

I've gotten about 7 or 8 almost all from posting in the Darkfall section. Since I only post in that section once in a while now I have gotten only one over the last 6 months from... you guessed it, posting in the Darkfall section. The posts I've made in that section weren't any different from my posts anywhere else on this site. The trolls run that section and will get you warned for not agreeing with them if they can find even the smallest thing in your post to report you for. I would advise anyone to post in that section at your own risk as you could get warned even for the most innocent of posts.
Other than those posts in the Darkfall section I think I have gotten one warning over the years that I've been posting here in all of the other sections combined. That one I did deserve as I let my anger get the better of me and flamed someone pretty bad. I try not to do stuff like that and obey the rules here. Some sections and the posters they contain make that damn near impossible however.

I'm a very outspoken poster here, and I have never received a warning/ban. So, if you're getting them then you must be doing something very very wrong. Attack the post, not the poster. Stay on topic for the forum you're in. Etc.. Some pretty common sense stuff in order to stay under the radar.
Check my post history. With the exception of the post I mentioned where I flamed that guy I never swear. I have gotten critical of posters before but nothing that goes to the point of direct insults. Oh well, I'll just stay away from the Darkfall section and I should be fine. That seems to be the root of all my evil anyways.

Too many to remember. I know I have gotten several bans. Including around five 120 day bans.
Most of my warnings have come from actual game related posts which is kind of funny. I didn't receive any bans/warnings from political content.

Ive gotten one warning from an overzealous moderator who is into politics bigtime...needless to say he disagress with my viewpoints and he's already unprofessionally disclosed to me his secret forum member name identity.
He can be cute tho. He has this thing about deleting posts of mine that I have posted over 2 to 3 years ago to drop my rank (ninja moderating). oh well, lol, I'll give him an A for trying to piss me off.....although it isn't working

None and none. I was going to test it by being nasty and insulting the poster above me, but then I saw it was Dekron and didn't want to force him to be an ass to me and get himself banned. I couldn't handle the guilt!

Yeah I know what you mean GL. I think sometimes older more recognizable names are more regulated not less.
Enigma is another good example.

my inbox shows 1 warning and 2 bans. I think i had 2-3 warnings and bans that i deleted back when i was a noob on the site.

Warned too many times to count, just came off a 14 day ban, banned once before that, every reason for being banned was nonsense.
I got banned for trolling when i said it was stupid too vote for sarah palin because she is hot.

So far I've only gotten 2 warnings and they were far apart... something like a year apart. I've taken issue with both of them and sent my complaints to the community manager. Never got any word back so I don't know if my "angry letters" had any effect.

A lot of the mods dont seem to know when the line between debate/heated discussion has been crossed into flame/troll territory. As such a lot of threads that have good discussions get locked, and people get warned and banned.
I mean personally i think most of the mods have no idea what the hell trolling is...

Never warned, never banned. I do get posts deleted every week though. But those are posts on threads I know are going to get deleted anyway like referral links, private servers, and gold sales posts. I try to educate those posters that have been here more than a couple of weeks. The one-post wonders aren't worth bothering with except for the reporting.
4 or so. Every time I posted in the Darkfall forum I got banned.
You know, I honestly couldn't tell you. Let's just say a lot of times. So many times in fact, I finally stopped caring about it. which was cool because I also stopped caring about the forums I was on so damn much. After the last ban, I went a whole month without the internet at all. I highly recommend this to anyone that doesn't absolutely need their email or yahoo messenger every single minute. If you don't need your internet account professionally or personally, just logoff for thirty days. It was an eye opening experience.
