Do death knights begin their professions at level 1?

 

And what you think is the best combo profession for a dk?

 All professions begin at level 1 except first aid. They give you level 300 so you can do heavy runecloth, which you will already know also.

Everything else is up to you.

There really aren't any 'super' professions for DKs.   Probably everything but leatherworking and tailoring would be fine.  They have done away with the BOP epic weapons for BSing, which means BS isn't above all the rest.   You can't go wrong with two gathering professions

weapon skills and first aid is 270  (level 55 skill)

the rest are zero
