Please stop telling me to vote

Im not going to vote. In fact I'll probably never vote (Unless the system changes). Im tired of seeing idiot Hollywood propoganda commercials telling me I must vote or lose my voice.

I have news for Hollywood, we lost our voice in 1913 when the banking elite took control of this nation with the implementation of the illegal Federal Reserve system.

I have no interest in voting for criminals that support an unconstitutional system.

My friends and family say I should at least pick the lesser of the two evils. Guess what, a vote for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil.

And look at the choices we have....

Obama - war mongering elitist who supported that criminal / fasist bailout bill, oh and a member of the CFR which advocates world socialist govt and a number of other horrific Orwellian themes.

McCain - war mongering elitist who supported that criminal / facist bailout bill, oh and a member of the CFR which advocates world socialist govt and a number of other horrific Orwellian themes.

The deck is stacked. This election is a total fraud. So come election day Im staying home.

    What about the other candidates?

Or make your own political group?

    Please vote.

The corporate / elite controlled media will ensure that a 3rd party candidate will never ever win a major election. And if the media cant silence the dissenters, the Diebold voting machines will.

even the media admits the machines can be hacked.

    Vote for Richard Nixon.

I'm sure that he will be happy to become president again.

And if you can't vote for anyone else but the campaigning candidates then this country is just like China, the only difference is that we have two parties.

Yes, because not voting is really going to change anything.

    Oh wait...

And if you think that voting doesn't change anything, tell that to Florida 8 years ago.

Vote for yourself then and make a difference if you win.

Nope voting wont change a thing.

Lets see in the 2000 election we had a choice between Al Gore, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations

    or

George Bush, also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

    Some choice.

In 2004 we had the choice between George Bush and John Kerry. Both again members of the CFR. Also both are members of the ultra-secret Skull and Bones society of Yale University.

The so-called choice we have is an illusion. There is little difference between the candidates every election. They both are in control of the elitist bankers. Whoever we choose, that candidate will toe the line and follow policies set forth by these people.

    http://www.bizjournals.com/stlouis/stories/2008/09/15/daily49.html

Investment firms have donated $9.9 million to Obama and $6.9 million to McCain this campaign so far, according to the Center for Responsive Politics in Washington, D.C. Commercial banks have given Obama $2.1 million and McCain $1.9 million. Private equity firms and hedge funds have given Obama $2 million and McCain $1.4 million, according to the center.

Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase & Co., UBS and heavyweight law firm DLA Piper are among Obama's top contributors. JP Morgan acquired Bear Stearns with the federal government taking on as much as $30 billion Bear assets as part of the deal. McCain's top donor sources include Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and Blank Rome and Greenberg Traurig LLP law firms.

Notice that you see the same bank names giving money to BOTH candidates.

Wake up people, this election is a fraud. Our country is owned by the bankers. Stop patting yourself on the back because you voted. Its time for real change...

Your talking only about Nat'l elections...

Why not vote in local elections... don't tell me that local ballots don't make a huge difference..  In my small town they can affect change immensely!

lol..for example..  every ballot my city has some new tax they want to push on us... and we, the people, tell them to go to hell.  It's quite fun.

Now... let's see if we can do that same thing nationally...hmm...oh wait.  gotta vote.

Blank? You can do that at least in Sweden. Then you've voted and stated that you think all candidates are lacking, problem solved.

Yeah but England has become like in that novel called 1984 so I'm not really surprised that you get fined for not voting.

my state of Idaho leaves me no option to write in another name. What would be the point of leaving it blank ? thats not really sending a message that I despise the system.

If I had the option, Id write in Jesse Ventura for my choice or maybe Ron Paul.

Tell Gore to win HIS OWN FING STATE!

there really needs to be a Clause that even if you win but loose your Own state your out,...

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Can the system truly change if you're voting for the same thing listed under different names?

Do you honestly think that anything will change if either of the current top two most popular buffoons wins? Absolutely not. There is just too much stuff going on behind the scenes -- backroom dealings, lobbying, etc -- and no one will be able to do away with it.

In short, I agree with the OP and I too refuse to vote until I see a candidate truly deserving of my trust. I take my right to vote seriously and refuse to throw it away on a lesser of two evils.

No reason to so willingly be apart of the problem (not voting), just because you don't feel your vote will be part of any solution.

Voting or not voting, there a third option for the lesser of two evils there? There's no self-dignifying loophole with that one.

For a Politician to be a member of the CFR, is like a parent of school aged child being a member of the PTA.  It is not an evil conspiracy.  So go ahead and don't vote because you have no grasp of reality anyhow.

Our votes really don't count, don't let them fool you, it's The Electoral College votes that say who's next in line.
