The lands of Aden are teeming with news items, from castle sieges to a mean-spirited Dark Elf lurking just outside of town. Your challenge will be to chronicle the adventures and misadventures on your journeys, to help bring the latest news from the game world into the real world.

In the spirit of the 2004 Olympics being held in Greece, NCsoft hosted a large-scale event of our own! Players competed to get the highest score for their race by obtaining medals for killing monsters. The server-specific event began on Friday, August 13 and ended on Monday, August 16.

image On Kain, clan Dragonfire1 (led by Etra of the DragonFire alliance) captured Oren castle. Defending both of their base camps from raiding clans, they fought hard and captured Oren in an impressive fifty-one minutes.
image On Erica, clan Legacy (led by Gogandantess) captured Dion. Fighting their way through the NPC guards, they succeeded in one hour and four minutes.

image Arguably the best siege of the weekend took place on Bartz. Clan THoRforce and the Redemption alliance successfully defended Giran castle from the ShadowsOfCarnage alliance.
image On Kain, clan LegendOfKnights (led by sojuman of the DS alliance) captured Giran in an hour and thirty four minutes.
image On Erica, InnerCircle captured Oren from clan ExCinsii, which was the first PvP siege in which a castle was taken by attackers. (However! The defenders were simply not present for the siege, nor was there much NPC resistance.)
image
image On Gustin, Clan EternalAvatar (lead by Beliar) captured Giran Castle.
image During the attempted siege of Gludio Castle on Sieghardt, some of the largest PvP battles in Lineage II were witnessed, with many clans battling each other head-to-head. Although no one won a castle, it was a great sight to see!

Oh yes, I heard how the olympics went. Dark elves won across the board. Stick around for Chronicle2 so I can dance and sit on a throne? How about they fix that joke of a PvP system!

Ahem, sorry. I still get emotional over it.

Some free advice to whomever it applies to: If you want people to take you seriously in life, learn to spell.
