Free Trial?

I have never played this game and now I am looking for something new to play. Is there a Free Trial for this game?

there used to be one offered by mmorpg.com, is it over? other then that i dunno one.

Yes there sure are free trials my friend. They are on offer on mmorpg.com or you can just google it and find one else where. Make an awesome hero you love, and enjoy yourself. I find the game very entertaining and I am sure you will have a blast!

I realize this may be old, but the free trial is no longer the same. They've seriously gimped this trial. You can no longer talk in anything other than local and team, but the problem is that you can't whisper or invite either now. This makes getting a team ifinitely hard, as I actually have to be next to the person to ask for an invite. Not to mention that they've instituted a maximum level of 14. Quite disappointing. I suspect they implemented these changes in hopes of actually getting people to pay for the game, seeing as so few play it..but still..the chat restriction basically ruins it.

Sadly, as I've recently discovered after inviting several members of my guild to play this game, even if an already paying customer sends a buddy key invite for another person to try the game, it has the same restrictions placed on it. It is rather absurd. Luckily my guild members could communicate with me through vent and xfire, so it was fairly simple to get around this for us.
