Need some help - classes

in Everquest II

  Ive recently got the urge to play EQ2 again after playing it a long long long time ago.My question is ,what melee class is best for soloing overall and what spellcaster class.

 I dont want to end up like in some previous MMOGs,playing a class that ends up being very bland and weak at max lvl.

 Also note,if it's possible,I want to know the best "evil" melee class.

    Try a Bruiser or Zerker.

     Well I decided to try an assassin ,soo far soo good,nice class and havent come close to dying once yet.
