We are contacting you to make you aware of a Station Launcher stress test this weekend, August 8th through August 10th. In the near future SOE games will exclusively be available on Station Launcher once the application has been fully tested and some time after it has been released from beta. As a current player, we are inviting you to participate in the testing of this product in order for us to provide you with better service and increase your familiarity with the application.

Station Launcher will include:

* Launching Station Games - Launch games from one location without a separate login or having to launch from multiple shortcuts on your desktop.

* Behind-the-Scenes Updating - Automatic updating can take place while your computer is in use, and manage download settings for each game through preferences.

* Connect with friends using Station Friends - All SOE game friends are listed on one application. You are able to connect with your friends while keeping your other game characters names private and separate. You can see what SOE games your friends are playing when you are online, send and receive tells, and connect with legacy friends.

* Purchase Station Games, Updates and Items- purchase & download a variety of content, able to pre-load games, stay current on Station news, and manage your subscription.

* Localization - Station Launcher will be available in several different languages.

In order to download the Station Launcher beta, visit: http://launcher.station.sony.com.

Click on the “Download Beta” button and follow the instructions for downloading and installing the program. Then, log in with your Station Account information and begin using the program.

Sorry Sorry I just hate it when developers think they can do a better job messing around with your computer than you can.   Especially when developers start thinking they all need their own version of steam...
