Guess he meant that God is putting Bush face to face with what he did wrong 3 years ago. Said in a very deplorable way certainly. And easily manipulated and then misunderstood.

Sure that is not Gods wrath moving in to finish off what was started 3 years ago?

Now you know how awful it sounded when we outsiders sat and listened to prominent Republicans say it was God who unleashed Katrina on New Orleans to punish them for their liberal gay views.  I knew it would not be long until the Democrats would throw a punch back to the other side.  And I'm sure it won't be long before you'll have some Republican spokesman drooling to get on about how God has unleashed his wrath on another group of the godless.

When we have to listen to both of your sides say these stupid things to each other it gets really lame after a while.  I do find it kind of humorous that both of you parties gasp at each other as if one side is more wicked than the other though.  Back and forth insults and both sides walking away thinking the other is the spawn of the devil.

Why do people even pay attention to him? I've never even seen any of his movies and I'm not planning to.

This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed.

Afterall both parties are the same in the end. Corrupt to the bone looking to fleece he sheeple.

"James Dobson's organization asked all believers to pray for a storm on Thursday night so that the Obama acceptance speech outdoors in Denver would have to be canceled."

"Some of us tried to help after Katrina hit, while Bush ate cake with McCain and twiddled his thumbs."

"We hear You, O Lord, loud and clear, just as we did when Rev. Falwell said You made 9/11 happen because of all those gays and abortions."

"We beseech You, O Merciful One, not to punish us again as Pat Robertson said You did by giving us Katrina because of America's "wholesale slaughter of unborn children." His sentiments were echoed by other Republicans in 2005."

people will be, people. wont they?

im starting to like enigma's idea of electing a cobra commander more and more.

as long as the cobra commander dictates conservative principles....

but until that day comes, some of us will point out the other sides hypocricy.

and until that day, I will be partisan.

i wish i had the wisdom and discipline to remain neutral. but i dont.

and since im a people too(normal person, politician) i enjoy slinging the mud.

isnt War funny? people say to give peace a chance...but we cannot commit to peaceful dialect.

so i guess im not the hypocrit, considering I know war is a means to an end, realistically, realist, I embrace war.

    war of ideas.

    liberalism sucks.

It's sooo simple.  It really is.

There is a document that our founding fathers gave to us that outlines the powers of the federal government.  It also tells what intrusive limits the federal government has over us in our every day lives.  Yet, somehow these two parties and the people in this nation can't seem to put their faith in it.

You can point out the hypocrisy, as long as you don't deny it in your own party.  It's thriving on both sides.  And it's time for things to change to what they were meant to be for us.

again. the realist that i believe I am.

this change will never happen. unfortunately, we are moving towards a progressive world.

its the emotional arguments that win over the day.

so as the realist. it will take a war in our backyards to breath the same air our founding fathers have breathed.

    not going to happen.

and ron paul is a wasted vote.

until mainstream adopts him, hes dead.

I havent heard about him since the republican debates.

so when the war comes, lets first take out the news networks and blame it on friendly fire.

Well I was just commenting on the "one national party" bit, since if you check countries of the world with 1 ruling party, you may notice a pattern you know.

There were words such as yours spoken before the American Revolution.  And it took some great men to bring it about.  It was the norm of the time to be under kings and large oppressive governments with no respect for the individual and a persons liberty and self determination.  The founding fathers then fought an uphill battle for the hearts and minds of their own country men.  How sad that you would give up the hope that they instilled in the people of this nation back then for a political party.

Yah, thank God cuz we are the suxxors of the world, huh?  Dork!  Get off the bandwagon and support some of us who are trying to bring this country back to what it was.  Not all of us in America have given up on what we used to be historically.  Some of us here still believe in freedom and independence.

That's nice to hear, but the question is what can you do? I don't think much, the people in control have everything firmly in hand and the mindless masses happily cheer when they go around enforcing the "freedom" on the world and happily thank them for loosing more personal freedoms in exchange for false feeling of security. It's kind of getting off topic from the OP and these matters were discussed here and elsewhere ad nausea. And discussing about it on an offtopic gaming forum is sure as hell not gonna change a thing.

Michael Moore is to the extreme left what Ann Coulter is to the extreme right. Both people who's foot is magnetically drawn to their mouths the moment they open it. I'm a registered Democrat who leans center-to-left and even I can't stand it whem Moore opens his mouth.

I think you are absolutly right. The only countries that have one party are tyranies and dictatorships. That is the big lie with Obama's saying he wants to unite us. Where is the proof. Democrats don't want Conservative values. What they want is everyone to have liberal values and we will be united. It is just feel good pablum.
