Fun game if you like turned based combat.  It has a lot going for it, but this is all limited from the stamina system they have.  Its the newest f2p cash shop ploy from ndoors that currently limits the amount of battles agains mobs you can have in 24hours.  100 battles allowed from 1-50 and 50 battles allowed if your over level 51.

They offer pvp, although it currently matches you up with others who may be a whole equipment set above you and may have more mercanaries than you, meaning you wont have a chance.

Crafting is ok, untill level 30ish you must engage several battels in order to finish your craft, they offer a temorary "auto craft" that lets you sit and craft *yawn* but you cant do anything else but sit while it slowly crafts.

The selection of mercenaries is interesting and history based.  You can upgrade them at level intervals (every 20 levels?) but this requiers you to farm a TON of drops.  The mercenaries can eventually become heros that are somewhat historically accurate.

The game runs a bit slow on a decent system and was very laggy in crowded areas, this didnt really effect the battles as they are all instanced.

You can party with 3 people for a total of 27 mercenaries (you get to have 8 plus your main at level 50 less at lower levels) this gets kind of messy since if your battling 27 mobs the screen gets extremely crowded and difficult to manage and see everything going on.

That being said its a decent game, the stamina system ruins the game for everyone except those who play for a few hours a day and dont like to farm at all.  Basically people who like to quest for a few hours.  The rest will either log off once stamina is done or go into chatroom mode and just talk.  Someone who likes to farm or level grind will find the stamina lasting from 45min up to 2hours, after that no drops and no exp, but you can still fight.  After level 51 this is all cut in half, i cant imagine how people will deal with it.

Dont let anyone try to tell you that the stamina system was created to enhance gameplay, community, and pvp as the staff does. it is 100% to get hardcore players into the cash shop so that they can play the game to their liking.

We will be witnessing the birth of the newest member of mmorpg, Atlantica Online. Atlantica Online is now being dub as the future of online gaming. The game eliminates the traditional hack and slash combat system. It is the first mmorpg that uses turn based fighting system that enables the user to maximize their skill in combat. It is like a tactical rpg which makes you plan your every single move of your hero. Im sure our initial comment is that “it is like Final Fantasy series,” yeah it is do like the Final Fantasy series but it has its own identity.

Atlantica Online takes place in a real world setting. The game lets you travel from Asia across to Europe, plus you can explore the dungeons of Constantinople or enjoy the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

Atlantica Online also features a wide variety of character classes to choose from, from fearsome swordsman down to the sniping skills of a gunner. Each class has distinct differences from one another; it has some advantage and disadvantages. For example the swordsman has higher defense compare to gunner but it can only attack one enemy, while the gunner has the ability to shoot down three enemies in a straight line but it has lower defense and lower hp compare to other class. You can also hire mercenaries to aid you in a battle. Mercenaries have also different character class like our main hero. Mercenaries serve as a complimentary character to our main hero. The Mercenaries can boost your defense or it can help you nuke out your enemy.

Another good feature of this game is the PVP mode. Atlantica Online has great PVP modes that cater all blood thirsty players out there. You can test your leadership skills to guide your nation into victory against other nation and take control of town’s policies in security, culture, commerce and even the construction of buildings in your town.

The controls in this game is quite easy to understand, it will only takes you 5 to 10 minutes to familiarize you in the controls, after that you have the complete grasp of your character. The menus are accessible. From quest log, potions, spells and down to the guild information they are located in your screen.

Atlantica Online also presents a harmonious gaming environment, that at the end of the day you will find yourself sitting down and chatting to your buddy or to your guildmates.
