currently trying the 10 day trial,

I want to be playing WoW:BC,

What are my options?

If I don't own regular wow, can I just buy WoW:BC retail and type that cd key in, or would I need to buy both WoW and WoW:BC?

Could I use a buddy key then just carry that on, if the buddy key was from regular WoW?

what is my cheapest option?

Cheers.

You need to get  the original WoW to be able to play normally. Get BC if you wana roll the new race or continue to outland and lvl 70.

Ive heard that there's a a sort of package for both that is much cheaper. You need to check with your local game shop though...

You will need to buy both.

10 Day Trial accounts do not include the standard game or TBC for free, you must purchase at least the original to continue playing once your trial time is expired (or, seeing as you want to have access to TBC content, you will need to purchase both the original game and the expansion pack).

Blizzard doesn't run things like SOE where you can download a trial and just pay the first months subscription to continue, which is a good thing imho.

    Ok, thanks. :)

figured out I could get them both for about £20 on play.com and similar on amazon.

    :)

Can someone answer me, the armour sets that are on the WoW site atm, are they just the ones for Burning crusades?

If so, how many more tiers will there be on WotLK?

I'm not sure about where you are..  but the Best Buy near me has

    WOW Original  19.95

    BC Expansion  29.95

WOW Battlechest (both wow Original and BC + some books)  29.95

You might want to do some research, you can probably find the same deal somewhere.
