They do work, you have to subscribe to the game for 1month and also put in this code and you will get 15 days free on top of the 1 month. Look on the PlayNc Knowlage base for more answers.

Certainly they're all real.

There are 3 things you could be seeing:

1) Basic trials (14 days I think). These are available from a few places including the front page of this website. It's a basic trial anyone can do, though it is a restricted version of the game.

2) "Buddy invite" codes, where someone who already plays has a limited number of trials they can give out. They only last 10 days, but if you end up buying the game your buddy gets 30 days free. It's otherwise just like the first group.

3) "Come back codes" or "invite a friend back." This is 15 days free for someone who used to play when they pay to reactivate (giving a total of 45). It comes from an active player and that person gets 15 days free too.

Just because they're available from the supply side you probably see 3 the most. But all are "valid" codes, assuming they haven't already been used. I for example have a comeback code in my signature, checked daily. Others have them and some might give you a trial key if you wanted, though again the front page covers that well enough.
