I want Elite style

For many years I played Elite and Frontier: Elite 2 one of the things I have always wanted was a multiplayer Star Trek Elite style game. Be fab if you could join Starfleet, or the Klingon Defence Forces etc.... but if you wanted to instead pick up 50 tonnes of Fruit & Veg load up your Orion Merchantman and take it to Romulus and try and make a profit. Maybe be an explorer where unique and incredible items can be found on rare planets. I want the universe massive and I mean massive if the game has 1 million subscribers I still want most of the galaxy unexplored after 5 years worth of playing. I know you could say EVE online but to me it is incredibly complex. I want the game to be as easy to play as Elite but just as rich and in-depth as the most modern MMORPG. Just my thoughts and hopes.
