Deleting Characters Question

Deathstrike2Deathstrike2 Member UncommonPosts: 1,777

Does it really take 7 days to delete a character?  I just started the game, and was messing around with different looks and combos to see what I liked.  I had no idea that I'd have to way a full week to delete the alts I don't want.  Is there any way to speed up the deleting process??

Thanks!

The counter ingame is legitimate, its not there for show.

There is no way to bypass the wait.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I didn't assume it was for show, but rather a safety mechanism for accidental deletions.  I was hoping there was a way to confirm that deletion was the intention and bypass the counter.

/shrug   Oh well, a week it is I suppose.  I just wish I'd known that before I filled up all my slots first.  Ugh.

Everything in this game seems hardcore extreme :p

Pffft, it was easier then, there were only 60 levels! There just wasn't any content for those levels!

When I first started L2 years ago I used this weapon to level 22 and it was actually considered average at the time. It was a quest reward for the starter dwarf.

L2 isn't even close to as hardcore as it use to be.

Haha, I managed to get a Gastraphetes Bow, but I was still wearing Hard Leather and a few shitty jewels. Thank god my Elven Scout class was overpowered. Killing lvl 35 Wyrms at Death Pass at level 24 was cake!

Ha!  My statement wasn't a comparison of L2 to its former self.  It was a comparison to every other MMO out there right now (for the most part).  Nearly every other MMO has things that make them familiar to new players.  This one...not so much.

In fact, I'm pretty much lost right now as to what to do.  I've talke to the new helper, got the shadow weapon and have done all the quests I can find in the area.  Now, I'm just kind of hacking and slashing away at random monsters.  I've asked for advice, but no one ever answers (not yet anyway).

Yeah, L2 stands out in my experience as being a hardcore, tough to get into MMO.  Not a bad thing, but definitely different.  The only other MMO that's felt remotely like this to me was EVE (for similar but different reasons).

Comparing L2 to Eve is pretty fair. You'd never know it from first appearances, but they are very similar on many levels. Unfortunately for my wallet, I can't decide which one to focus on...
