I can play villians without buying CoV right?

I'm sure this question has been asked a lot, but I couldn't find a sticky for it. I just have the original city of heroes. Can I access all the villian content without buying City of Villains?

Thanks in advance for answering what must be a common question.

Unless something changed my understanding is that some of the features were added to both but you need to either by digital download or buying the box own city of villains to actually play in the rogue isles and make an actual villain I have been away for over a year so maybe something changed since then

but yeah, to call this game Fantastic is like calling Twilight the Godfather of vampire movies....

If you select an empty character slot and it gives you the coice of villian or hero then yes. Last yeah when NCSoft bought Crypstics share of the game they gave all accounts in good standing ( accounts both active and inactive), that only had one side, the other side free. I don't think you can go out and buy just one and get the other, but I could be wrong.

I had Heroes Only, I got a free play pass key from a friend and never had to pay for villans. So yeah if you pay for one you get both.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude; greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.
