Basically I put in my cd key and couldn't find credit card, and today I got that email. Is this the 30 days that come free with all acounts at the start, or is it the 'july free trial' thing that former users get.

I think its the 30 days that come free with all accounts. The e-mail itself seems to be stating that your 30 days aren't going to start counting down until you actually log into the game, rather than in other cases where it starts from the moment the key is registered to the account.
Ok thanks, thats what I was thinking, but I just wanted to make sure
