Which really came first

Just so people can stop arguing and whining about who came first i am going to give you all a little history lesson and give you the truth of who really came first.

So who was it? it was CONAN. here is the timeline.

Conan, Lotro, D&D, Warhammer,Warcraft.

look up the dates if you want it is true. also do not argue that lotro came first because it was not published first and that is what really matters.

also if you research this stuff make note that warhammers first board game if i recall actually cited conan. cited means giving credit to if you didnt know. so guess what? war copied conan.

this post is to show you that it does not really matter who copied who. to me its just stupid arguing about who came out first and whos a clone of what. What really matters is how the game is and are you having fun with it?

you argue about how stupid it is to argue about what came first but you created a thread to make a point Conan came out first? This thread makes no sense to me. Maybe Im missing something here.

People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.

Conan the IP dates from the 30's.

Conan the game is last out of the gate.

CH, Jedi, Commando, Smuggler, BH, Scout, Doctor, Chef, BE...yeah, lots of SWG time invested.

If you want to really be technical then they all copied many different tales such as Beowulf.  Which came out centuries before they ever wrote a single piece of "Fantasy" literature.

    Currently playing:
LOTRO & WoW (not much WoW though because Mines of Moria rocks!!!!)

    Looking Foward too:
Bioware games (Dragon Age & Star Wars The Old Republic)

LOTR influenced pretty much everything since it was written. No one gave a damn about Conan till the movies came about. 40 years later.

And without the old mythologies, Lord of the Rings would never have been made.
