in Everquest II
you were able to set up a contract to loan people gold or platinum and charge them interest and if they didn't pay you back on a set amount of time it would give you 'warrant' to track them down or hire a bounty hunter to track them down, kill em and get your money back. But if they never logged on it would just be automatically deducted from their bank to yours with the interest in set amount of time and the warrant for death would still be active.

No one will have platinum in eq2 for maybe a week or 2.. they are making it harder tog et cash, and everything is in 100 not 10.. soo.. what sued to be 1 plat will now be 1/100 gold :P, so basically there wont be much plat in eq2 for a while.
Just dont give people cash, I remember I tried to be nice in eq1 and I was going to give them 5 plat, but giving money was confusing and I didn't double check, and gave him every plat but 5.. so nearly 1000,
It was the end of like 6+ hours of sand giant hunting at 32
