Constant CTD's

Last Sunday I started to get a huge amount of crashes to desktop so far it happens when:

I swap weapons

I put my mouse pointer on an item in a loot box

I pu my mouse pointer on an item in a quest reward box.

I put my mouse pointer over already existing loot in my bag.

I have reinstalled the client from the DVD and no joy, it seems like there is a problem ever since I hit level 40 and it seems related to the little info boxes that come up when you bring your pointer over an item.

So far I have had no response from support (what a surprise) and for me this is a game breaker as now my main character is stuck as he has to select a quest reward and all 3 make a CTD.

Anybody else have a suggestion? (apart fom re-rolling an alt)
