In light of something to combat the endless streams of repetative AOC threads, I'm throwing this out there.

People Are Stupid

People are stupid by nature, and you and I cant tell them any different. because it's thier own pride and arrogance that keeps them from seeing the simplicity of things. As long as people vie for importance, they will continue to crave complication like a drug that threatens to consume the human condition until a time in which they will not be satisfied until everyone is as plastic as a barbie in a perfectly wrapped package.

In the end, taking away individuality wont be enough. They'll want to control everyone like a bad cliche that keeps repeating itself until the droning hum of hopeless monotony drives the few unique souls left into a furnace of vapidness; It wont even stop there. Once everyone has been stripped of thier last surviving identity, there will be nothing left to conquer. The hunger for conquest will have nothing left to devour except itself. Once this final stroke of inevitability takes place, mankind will wither into an abismal state of nothing, and cease to exist.

The forlorn truth of it is, we easily have the ability to stop it. What's worse is that we almost pride ourselves in our hoplessly resounding ignorance. It isnt enough that we torment ourselves with the need to break the barrier of acceptance, but that we must plague the rest of the world with this sort of "I gotta make you me" quest, and then revel in it like a three year old looking up at his mother after he just threw up on himself from eating too many of the chocolates she just told him to stay away from.

I think it's more of the craving of money and sex. If we could control our cravings for those 2 pleasures the world would be a way better place. Stupidity is just a lame ass excuse.
