Item Crafting Tips

Item Crafting -- by DragonFly

Practical Crafting Guide

Let’s make crafting is easy for everyone. In this article,I’ll explain how to do craft item to get light blue bonus, to make green item,and title set items.

Know your generation table well

Metal > Water> Wood > Fire> Earth > Metal (Metal will generate water, water will generate wood, wood will generate fire, fire will generate earth, and earth will generate metal)

Memorize this by heart: Metal when melt will give water.Water will nourish tree (wood). In turn, wood will be burned to give fire. Fire will turn anything burned into ashes (earth). Earth will produce metal.

Crafting light blue bonus

To craft light blue bonus on the equipment, please follow the simple crafting generation below. Let me explain to you the abbreviation. M is a main element. G is an element that generates the main. In other words, if you put Metal as main element then Earth will be G.

Another aspect to take note, please make sure the G(generate) material's level is lower than the M (main) materials. Here's are the formula:

Ring = M + M + M + G

Neck = M + M + G + M

Gauntlets = M + G + M

Weapon = G + M + G + M + G + M

Boots = M + M + G

Helmet = M + G + M + G + M

Armor = M + G + M + M + G

Illustration:

M= earth, G= Fire

       Creating Ring (Ring=M+M+M+G)                                       Creating Necklace (Neck=M+M+G+M)

Creating Gauntlets (Gauntlets= M+G+M)                           Crafting Helmet (Helmet= M+G+M+G+M)

      Crafting Boots (Boots=M+M+G)                                          Crafting Armor(Armor=M+G+M+M+G)

                                                  Creating Weapon (Weapon = G+M+G+M+G+M)

M= Earth, G= Fire

In general, if you follow the formula above, most of the time you’ll get light blue bonus though not always. For novice, you may want to farm the materials at phoenix village. You can get level 6 deer mats (Earth) and level 1 rabbit mats (Fire). It's nice site to do your experienment to get light blue bonus (Most likely you'll get it after your first golden hammer )

Advanced or for experiment

There is no general rule of crafting. Even for the formula that I stated above. For advance crafter, sometimes you don’t have enough same main material, you may want to try with some combination of main and generate material.

For instance, creating a weapon, from example above we only used earth and fire mats. For this experiment, you can use 2 different mats for M and the G follows the M. Please make sure that the G material level is below the M material (even M material has different level, it doesn't matter as long as the following G is lower level than previous M material). This might be confusing so I illustrate below:

Weapon = G + M + G + M + G + M

We use 2 different M element say Metal and Wood. The G that we need is Earth and Water.

So, instead of:

Weapon = Fire + Earth (M) + Fire + Earth (M) + Fire + Earth(M)

You may want to try:

Weapon = Earth + Metal (M) + Earth + Metal (M) + Water +Wood (M) this may as well give you light blue bonus on weapon, not always.

Another example of creating Armor, instead of

Armor = Earth (M) + Fire + Earth (M) + Earth (M) + Fire

youmay want to try:

Armor = Earth (M) + Fire + Wood (M) + Wood (M) + Water. This may give you light blue bonus as well though not always. If you have confident, youwant to try for helmet as well.

Crafting Green Items

To craft green items, there are few things you have to take note though there is no general rule but it gives higher percentage to get green items:

Make sure the crafter hammer is gold for your material's level. In another words, if your highest material level is level 6,you need at least 6 gold harmers. This will increase chance for creating green item.

To make green, you need either all blues or mix between blue and green. All white will give you blue. Sometimes, you may experience that mixing green, blue, and white will give you green item as well.

Crafting Title Set Items

To craft items with title requirement you need materials from holy beast which means you get from humanoid most of the times. Sometime,it’ll drop as well from non-humanoid especially non-humanoid boss. For those that have no idea where to get title, you can look for NPC stated in your major skill quest under quest description. Please take note that there is level requirement.

To craft title set items, you need same level of the material with same name. Illustrate below the material that I meant:

Though they have different element, you can mix around as what I explained above to give you light blue bonus. Please take note when you are mixing them to create light blue bonus, you have to make sure the main material element is your major element. Otherwise, the title set items won’t give any bonus.See below 2 screenshots, the first one is red as the major element doesn’t match with title set equips element while the second does:

 This is what would happen if one of your title items is green:
