Everyone's all either like "this game sucks!" or they say thats its really good. I have to say Im particualarly swayed by the people who say the game is good due to the fact that they all sound a bit like losers...
Anyway. The only other mmorpgs Ive played are Maple Story, which I stopped playing because it was 2D and incredibly hard for someone like me to level up, and Mabinogi, which Im considering stopping because I cant decide what profession I want to go into.
I have come to terms with the fact that to really play any game well you need to buy something with real world money, but would I have to do that often with this game? If Im looking for a game with a good battle system and badass clothing, is this okay? Would a peverse rocker type of thirteen year old girl such as myself be into this? I have a pretty short attention span and I like to be kept entertained....
How easy do you think it is to sneak into ths zoo? I need to see some penguins like, RIGHT now...

Im about to give it a shot myself. PCGamer gave it a good review in there free MMO article in this months issue (has Warhammer on the front).
You should definitely try the game. At worst, you'll just have to uninstall it.
From the sound of things, I think you'll like Fiesta. There are a ton of quests to do, and the community is really nice and helpful. Leveling is reasonably fast, and you rarely need to purchase items from the Outspark Store. Spend some time with it and I think you'll walk away impressed.
So far I have been enjoying the game! Granted I have only been able to play it for an hour I plan on playing it some more later.
Any game that has a little dog jumping around town is a great game in my book! =D
I was reading at Fiesta Fan that the next Fiesta patch includes all kinds of cool new stuff like weddings and a raid instance!
Hope you find more than an hour to play.
Im glad to see positive messages and not negative ones like a lot of other game posts. I plan on trying this game so i hope it stands up to everyones praise!

Yea, Fiesta is an MMORPG worth playing.
Look at my thread here for the latest event.

well i wont tell you to play or not to play, but here is what you can expect from fiesta:
really colorful graphics
tons of immature players
lots of grinding
decent music
no good end game or decent pvp
lots of botters and players who buy gold from the farmers
Nowadays its next to impossible to play ANY mmo that doesnt have gold spammers. One of the most annoying things is when the chat log in a game is swarmed with messages like "1000 gold for $19.99 @ www.xxxxxxxxx.com" over and over and over again. It gets old real quick. Good music is definately a plus, though. Besides all that, community is a large part of any mmo. Teaming up with other people to complete quests and beat bosses is key(for the most part). However, if the game itself is good enough yet the community is largely immature players arguing and making fun of newer players by calling them "n00bz" and not helping them when needed, i will still play. If thats the case then i just pay no attention to other players and do my own thing.
Dont get me wrong, sometimes it gets boring and frustrating doing super hard quests alone but if thats what it takes to enjoy the game content then i suck it up and play. This route isnt for everyone but it works for me. After a while i'll quit the game and move on to a different one i guess.
Thank you for the heads up on what to expect in Fiesta, crunchyblack. Its good to know what im getting in to.

Its a decent game, I havent played in a while, but its still installed on my comp. Its got cute graphics, the music is rather upbeat. Combat is your standard affair, assign skills to hotbar, click to use, blah blah blah. Skills have a decent look to them, but character customization is very lacking. Th upgrade system for weapons and armor is practically luck-based, though if you manage to get it upgraded enough, there is some fairly interesting looks that are applied to your weapon.
Ive been playing this game since open beta started.
Its a good decent game, but the grindfest doesnt really begin till you reach the higher 7-9 lvls of your lvl every 10 lvls like 27-30 37-40 47-50 etc. Then the curve jumps by a huge amount after 70.
Its a good game if you can get past the mistakes that constantly get made during major patches.
Alot of what makes people dislike the game, is due to cash shop, or late warnings due to patch errors. As in they let an error go unfixed for a long time, and then when the time does come to fix it it ends up hurting alot of players in the process. But overall Great game, mediocre management. If you can get past the mediocre management then youll love the game.
The wedding sytem requires cash shop, and the boss raids aren't even logical for players until you reach about 79+. The bosses are around lvl 90+ but the cap hasnt been raised passed 89 yet.
I personally don't like the game, it has a terrible character customization, you get to choose from like three hairstyles and something around five colors, the class system is alright, but doesnt leave room for much of a variety between members of the same class. Maybe it's because I can't help but compare every MMO I play to WoW, which lets you choose between a variety of weapons in your class, but Fiesta just isn't that good. And it is a grind-tastic game, a formula I personally hate.
You can open up TONS of additional customization options by buying the Beauty Shop Coupon from the Fiesta Store (it costs about $2.00).
Before you start complaining about paying to customize your character, remember that most people don't really care what their character looks like. After all, you're just going to get all your customized options covered in armor anyway.
When was the last time you played the game? It used to be really grind-heavy, but in the last couple patches they've increased the amount of XP you get, especially from quests, so players level much, much faster now.
Hmm I'll definately have to try this game out, seems to be quite alot of positive reviews on it xD.
I personally like the game. There is a few problems still but since it is a free game it is expected.
There are occasional glicthis and the last update was hard to download. But its a free game so why not try it.
For all that set the road before us don't let their memories die but live through our actions.
Let our action bring forth honor to not only us but for those which memories we carry.

i would suggest to not play this game. Why? It is a complete waste of time, and eventually becomes a 24/7 grind fest. Take from first hand experience, I played when it was in CB and OB, and got to the level 65 before quiting. The quests are extremely dull and repititive, there so called "community", is nothing but a group of friends who control the forums and game play. To make matters worst, the game is constant facing problems with development and the release of cash shop items. In order to become "godly" in this game having +9 gear is REQUIrED, otherwise killing goes super slow. Its much pretty a total grind fest game after you hit your early level 40's and from there on you have to grind constantly on same mobs in order to level up. Quests and Kingdom quests can only help so much.
To sum it all up, if your looking to kill some time, then try Fiesta with some friends, it'll be a fun experience, Anything after level 40, and your just wasting time when you could be doing other things. Sparkcash is a waste of money, I having spent 50 on enhancing items (biggest waste of money ever). Your more likely to spend the money on sparkcash and buy a pay 2 play game instead. I don't recommend this game, becasue having gotten to level 65, I've seen what the game does to people; gets them addicted, 24/7 grinding straight without sleep, etc, I suggest trying another game instead of this.
I played a lot too, till level 48 and I have to completely agree with PU_TANG_PIE. No game that requires grinding all the time is fun. Maybe I chose the wrong game for me, that could be a reason... others may find this gameplay attractive, but not me. I like to have something to do when I don't want to continue grinding, and not those silly adventures or crafting to be a salesman... well, gotta go to another game.
Anyways, feel free to try it, people who like cute and itembased games may like it
Hello,
I don't suggest you to play at this game, community is bad and staff even worse.
Look at this photobucket: s1017.photobucket.com/albums/af299/LadylVlarian/
And these are only some of the insults you get when you play at this game..
And my friend here, was permabanned after all the insults she got.
people who say fiesta sucks, are just angry fiesta players who are too lazy to level and earn their in-game stuff. there are idiots everywhere, deal with it. they are overreacting, don't listen to them. try fiesta and decide if you like it or not.
i think fiesta is a fun game, i found many nice friends here. i usually quit mmos in a few days or weeks, but fiesta is different. i started playing in may and i'm still online every day. lvling is easy, my characters are lvl 78 (scout) and 62 (paladin) and my quest list is full!!! i rarely have to grind, not like in other mmos where you have to grind til max lvl after a few quests... this is the main reason why i love fiesta, there are many quests to do, even kingdom quests that require good teamwork. leveling never gets boring, especially when you're with friends, like me
I want to reborn as a Sylvari.
Not true, silenos. I played for months and reached level sixty. I could have gone even further if I'd wanted to but I got sick of it.
There are glitches in this game that have been around since before I began playing that no one cares to even attempt to fix. The programmers just aren't that skilled. They put in snow and break something else in the process. Did we really need fake snow at Christmas? No. Did we want it? Not if it meant lagging, thanks.
It's also unbalanced. If you aren't a Fighter, you're screwed. It's not about skill and how you play in this game. Class, who you kiss up to, and money matter.
For some reason, this game is also bogged down by bots. I've tried other games and haven't had this problem and no, they weren't P2P games, I've tried both and just now realized that I haven't had a problem with them elsewhere.
It's a really little game, too. You see some jerk running his mouth and argue with him and then that's it right? Nope, he's always around. Always. You can't get away from anyone, everyone is so packed in that it's ridiculous. I play PWI now and I've been in two arguments with people since I started. The first thing I noticed is that the players weren't quite as nasty. The second thing I noticed is that I haven't seen them since. People just disappear. You can join factions and not even see the Director or whatever until you need his or her help somewhere. People are spread out so you aren't stuck playing with the same jerks and listening to the same weirdos talk about how awesome so and so is because they have no life and spend all their money on prolonging their five minutes of fame. There's nothing more annoying than listening to some of these people, really. That's actually what was the final nail in the coffin for me.
Way too much drama.
Like OMG like this Guild is like the most powerful!
[a day later]
OMG, can you believe they broke up!
[two days later]
OMG, 5 of the members are now in a new Guild, OMG!
[five minutes later]
They're back together!
[seven minutes later]
Nuuuu, they broke up again!
I'm not even kidding. The top Guilds are the most annoying usually. They break up, reform, rename themselves, talk about being awesome and good and then harass people and keep on trucking. Again, some of these people are the most annoying people to have to game with that, they, themselves will be its end I think. If not that, then OS's greed and lack of rules. Or rather, the inability to enforce their rules. They give you this long list of rules you're supposed to follow and then none are enforced. So the whole game can end up denegrating into nothing more than a cat fight. I've actually been stalked, KSed, and trained. Once, it was simply because I dared to harvest herbs in an area someone else had claimed for themselves. >.< So this is where money and butt kissing comes in.
All in all, just not my thing. I like big areas where I can enjoy my gaming experience rather than be mashed up with jerks and then have to deal with glitches and repeat quests that require you to kill 120 of one monster about 5 or more times. If I have to work that hard, at least make it worth it.
Play it and see if you should play it or not.
Lol you never did let this person know. The game is good to be free, its not bad. better than more of the other F2P BS.
OMG Why?
This game is only fun for so long. Though the grinding isn't the best; the social is pretty good. You make a lot of friends but leveling isn't the easiest thing either.. But all in all this game is minorly entertaining. If you're just getting into MMORPG's then this could be a good place to start then go on to the better made ones. I personally played this, capped at 105 with a mage then moved on to Jade Dynasty.
