Does anyone play any PBBG's?

I have been looking for a good game to play and recently found something called PBBG's, (Persistent Bowser-Based Game). I was wondering if anyone has played or does play any and perhaps point me to one that you like. I have played many MMO's like EvE, EQ2, and WoW but I am looking for something different. I consider myself a casual gamer and I particularly love sandbox type games, and while I regard EvE as such I find it a little too slow paced for my tastes. And the fact that I always get podded by vets that have bubbles setup at gate camps.
