i have been playing ff11 for a while and can say that i think i'm going to stay for the long haul. But it seems that the constant fight, stop to rest/heal, fight again is taking too long. i'm looking for a white mage around lvl 10 on ODIN server to help me power lvl.
if your interested please e-mail me at

First... posting your email address, verbatim, on a public forum is a great way to get it picked up and entered on a bunch of spam-mail lists. I'd suggest changing that up... change the @ to -at- or something.
That said...
Power-level... -cringes-
Well, you didn't indicate what level you are now, but if you're under level 10 or so, you really should be able to get through those levels fairly quickly. If you're playing Warrior, you should be raising some necessary skills that require you to be attacked/hit. If you have a power-leveler healing you while you fight, often-times they end up taking hate, so instead of the mob attacking you, it's trying to attack the PL, which does you no good. Your levels are going up, your defensive skills aren't. That can be very problematic when you're in a level 12 party and your defensive skills aren't capped, especially if you find yourself tanking which, as a Warrior, there's a good chance of at those levels.
That's *one* reason, of several, why I'm against PL'ing - especially for new players/characters. It can tend to do more long-term harm than good.
If you're at or approaching level 10 or so, you should be heading out to party up with people anyway. Head on out to the Dunes and put your seek flag up and you should get invites before long... might be a slow time of day, so they won't fly in instantaneously, but you'll get them... 'specially as Warrior.
Were I on Odin I'd offer to escort ya out there, but... Pandy-ite here, so can't help there, unfortunately :-/.
You might also go to limitbreakradio.com, post to their forums and introduce yourself. LBR is based on Odin, so I'm sure they'd love to welcome a new player into the fold.
ffxiclopedia.com is another good place - though its forums aren't as friendly as lbr's (in my opinion).
ffxionline.com is another good site.
Go to the server specific forums on there, and also post in the general forums and I'm sure you'll find some folks willing to help ya out.
Good luck!

Why not party with a group that has a level 10 WHM in it.?
