I was watching X-Play on G4TV when they showed the hand-on preview of "The Agency" and they where talking with the director of development, and I have to say from someone that has spent a lot of time playing different video games and MMO's for 40-60+ hours a week for years that we may finally see a game that has found a fix to the worst time sink in MMO's spending hours LFG because of class balance issues.
The think that was most interesting concept was the "You are what you wear", this concept of being able to become what is needed at the time is a concept that is long over due in games, I know a big reason for me leaving a lot of games is because of class structure is so restrictive and I have had to spend a lot more time assembling a group then grouping its self just because you can't find someone to fill a need role, being confined to a roles when choosing what to play will always mean what is more desirable will always because the most popular choose if players. I think being able to try different roles and rotate roles between groups of friends would work well to bring back a lot of the fun and diversity that MMO's once held for me and my friends. I know a lot of my friends no longer play MMO's just for the fact that they are limited to an hour or two of play but when you could have to spend 2-6 hours trying to assemble a balanced groups you can find out quickly how easy a play session turns into wasted time.
