FF XI for PS3

I personlly hope they come out with a final fantasy mmorpg for the ps3 and im hoping its in the near future. I would like to see it by december or something b/c if ff goes away then im likely to kill myself

From what I'm told, the latest PS3 firmware updates added compatability for PS2 games that use the hard drive. That means that FF XI is now playable at the 60 and 80 gb PS3's. The 40 gig PS3's lack backwards compatability though, so those won't work.
Supposedly installing the game on a PS3 is still a bit of a pain though, so you should look for a guide for that.
