Granado Espada 2 Under Consideration?

On December 27th, 2007 (South Korea Time), Granado Espada developer HanbitSoft confirmed in a report that they will use a new 3D game engine to develop the sequel to Granado Espada. We've translated and summarized the report as follows for you:

As early as on December 11th, 2007, three Granado Espada 2 testing screenshots were released on the official website of IMG Games. However, at that time, IMG Games didn't specify that those screenshots were from Granado Espada 2. Instead, they explained:

"These three screenshots were taken during a test on a new game engine, so we can't that they are from Granado Espada 2. But we can say it is very possible that in the near near future, Granado Espada will reward its players with a whole new version."

The report also mentioned that the new version of Granado Espada may have a name totally different from Granado Espada, just like what Twelve Sky did. But so far, Granado Espada 2 is more likely to be its name.

I jsut hope they learn a bit from there past mistakes...cause for one its probably teh biggest auto grind fest ever...yet they ask for people to not bot...i mean its unavoidable since they added  thsoe mob boxes...they practically add exp boosters every month to make up for it....last but nto least the places for good lvling are so crowded it was such a lag fest...in the end it was an okay game...but when it acctually gets to the point where it takes more than 1 day to lvl than...im officially done...

They are using GROME, a big world engine.  So it should have several distinct differences from Granado Espada.  When you look at Hakkyu Kim's game portfolio he has Ragnarok Online, the social mmo; and Granado Espada, the RTS MMO.  If its a sandbox, his portfolio for mmos will be fully represented.  Hopefully this time they will localize it themselves instead of selling it off to a localization company to half-ass.
