Client was not able to connect to the Patch Server

Got this message after installing the game,

Client was not able to connect to the Patch Server. Please check the list below:

1. Patch server is currently being checked

2. Inter connection

3. Please make sure that Archlord has access through your Firewall.

 

The question is..

#1.. how do we know that the Patch server is being checked? From ArchLord's website I can see that all the servers are up?

#2. Internet connection? I think since I'm connected I'm okay

#3. I've switched that off already..

So.. just wondering whether I've missed anything (e.g. does ArchLord limit users with IP other than that of ppl in the USA / Canada like 2Moons). Would appreciate some help as I'm anxious to try to game out. Thanks!!
