Looking for a game like AC

What games out there right now have a similar playstyle to the original AC?

The major points I'm looking for are:

  • Ability to solo majority of content - no raids!
  • Very customizable skill / class system

 

I've played AC, AC2, DAoC & CoH in the past and the only one that ever really got me hooked was AC, so if there are any games that have a similar playstyle to AC please let me know.

    For solo capability, I would say play WoW or EQ2. Both games you can solo to top level very easily. EQ2 has definitely gotten better over the years and is now one of the top games.

     

    Closest to AC? Hmm...neither game really offers a true customizable skill system. In both games you get the same skills whoever what you decide to put your "skill" points into (in EQ2 its called AA or alternative advancement) determines what your character is better at compared to a normal character. I know that seems pretty vague.

     

    Try EQ2. I am sure you've heard of all of ups and downs of WoW. Other than that I can't think of another game that fits your criteria.
