Well why you ask?
Its easy.
Cons, the bad stuff about this game:
Crappy sound(but not that bad)
Graphics(they are ok but still could be better)
Lag(That is one thing i think they should fix asap)
Inbalance(The allies has alot of advantaged against axis)
"those was the most important ones of i have experienced"
The pros, the good shit:
You can fight on land sea and air.
You can sit in the bushes and snipe, shoot air targets, tanks etc.
Alot of weapons to infantry.
Sit in a tank and kill everything (almost)"many tanks to select"
Or you can be a helper and transport troops, Anti tank Guns, AA-guns.
Or be int he navy, command your own ship or with friends, shoot down planes, ships, land targets orsteer a big damn transport ship for an huge assault.
ALOT of action in towns, see full land battles, air battles at the same times, and if your close to water there will be sea battles also. why not swim out to a ship and place some explosives and see it go down?
And a mature and friendly playerbase, it surprized me alot from playing in wow for 3 years. its a huge differance.
war is hell and your smacked right in it...noob or pro everyone is usefull and can tip the balance of an fight..
(sorry for all the typos and such)

Lord, curious about your system's specs. Mine is a 3700AMD, 7800 Nviida both OC 10% driving a 32 in lcd monitor at 1872x990 with 2 gigs of ram and an Audicy 4 soundcard. You make is sound as tho lag is constant like a overload player wise standalone game on someones low level machine. Post your computer's specs so that we can see why you may be lagging constantly.
I have e6600, 2 Gb DDR2-800 RAM, 8800 GTX, not overclocked. I have constant 70-40 FPS, except heavy fights in city with damn mortar smoke, goes down to 10. So i go somewhere else.
Alos i have shadows disabled, and tweaked settings to max distance and high object draw limit, so i can see as many players as possible.
hmmm, the reason I still play (started june 13 2001) ...
Well it is a wwII simulator
Has a big arse map with no zones (1/2 scale of NW europe)
Has a big arse viewing distance like 3k meters for ground stuff and 8k meters for boats (1.6k meters= mile so that is huge)
The armor/balistic modeling is great. (this one item sold me back in 01) See my other thread on this for details.
No hit bubbles, no armor hit points.
Fly/Tank/or play infantry all in the same area and you can quickly change what you are doing.
Paratroopers jumping out of planes that players fly.
Very limited AI stuff.
Takes cooperation to do anything. (almost) Infantry is the only thing that moves the map (or wins the map) but you need tanks/guns/air to help the infantry.
Persistant map/ and constant war. Campaigns take weeks to finish.
Fixed factories that produce production points for next gen equipment that can be bombed to slow down production. (air strat war)
Both sides have different weapons and different str/weaknesses.
Each weapon has a unique sound. Each vehicle has a unique sound.
Day/Night cycle.
128 viewable players/ max 10k players in the game.
Dead bodies stay drawn / dead tank hulks stay and provide cover (newer feature that I wanted for a long time)
The huge number of weapons and vehicles available
Anti-tank guns/ anti aircraft guns available.
The fact that it is driven from players skill opposed to the character/avatar's skill level.
The fact that a 5 minute noob can shoot/kill a 6 year veteran.
That there is a front line that isn't arbitrary, but where 2 enemy forces have deployed opposed.'
Enemy brigades (or friendly brigades) can be routed / reduced to 0 equipment list.
Now things I'm wishing for in the near future
North Africa theater
More aircraft/tanks/infantry stuff
Bigger boats/more of them (subs)
More bombable targets for RPD.
Removal of fixed spawn bases and moved to 100% mobile/buildable by players.
Bigger artillery
More detail in ground cover for infantry (not more bushes, but more cracks/ditches)
Removing AI stuff.
Thats all I can think of atm.
I would like to edit that I played computer games back in the mid 80s with Commadore. There for graphics do not make or brake a game for me, its the repeat playablility and if it is challanging. WWIIOL has been that for 6 years.

im not lagging at all much really, it runs smoth and very enjoyable. Sometimes the warping is a bit anoying (infantry targets only, when it happens).
Why not post where it can acutally be read. Maybe the mod here will recognize you again and ban this account. Trying to harm a game would seem to be grounds for banning.
LMAO! You are too funny Beatbox/Nochoices/Death2allofu.
I wonder what will be your next name when this one is banned? Uallsux maybe…
I read your posts and there is some truth to many of the things you say...
And the game certainly has its problems. In fact, when 1.24 (1.23??) was released I thought they had killed it and it would be dead in 3-6 months.
But, over the past 6 months I have seen a steady improvement. 1.27 changed the game.
It's still a long way from perfect, and could do with a lot of improvement in many areas, but having said that the game is actually quite good now. And, in comparison to many WWII FPS shooter SP games the game has a certain something that makes it work (i.e. it's fun).
What's more, it now shows signs of continued improvement in future.
I don't know why you hate the game so much? Maybe it's just not your thing? But it certainly beats the hell out of many other WWII games out there.
Nothing says irony like spelling ideot wrong.
