in Everquest

i just installed everquest and now its trying to patch, but cant connect. obviously im connected to the internet, because im typing this. help plz quick.

    Do you have a firewall of some sort or a program like Zone Alarm?  If so you will need to change the settings in order to allow EQ to talk with your computer, otherwise it won't establish a connection.
